Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.98% or 5.00 points to trade at 55.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:) added 5.19% or 0.98 points to end at 19.88 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (TADAWUL:) was up 3.42% or 0.76 points to 23.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Rajhi Bank (TADAWUL:), which fell 37.37% or 67.20 points to trade at 112.60 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) declined 9.88% or 42.60 points to end at 388.40 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) was down 5.62% or 1.22 points to 20.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 109 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.62% or 1.22 to 20.50.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.61% or 2.86 to $106.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.38% or 2.67 to hit $109.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 20.63 to trade at $1,862.17 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 103.93.
