Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 2.11% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.94% or 3.15 points to trade at 34.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:) added 9.93% or 2.20 points to end at 24.36 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:) was up 6.71% or 1.16 points to 18.46 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were SABB Takaful (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.87% or 0.34 points to trade at 11.50 at the close. United Wire Factories Company (TADAWUL:) declined 2.05% or 0.60 points to end at 28.70 and East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:) was down 2.02% or 1.50 points to 72.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 179 to 63 and 8 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week lows; rising 9.94% or 3.15 to 34.85. Shares in SABB Takaful (TADAWUL:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.87% or 0.34 to 11.50.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.05% or 1.73 to $82.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.56% or 1.43 to hit $90.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 5.65 to trade at $1,658.35 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 3.70, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.09% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 111.92.
