Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.44% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:), which rose 7.79% or 11.80 points to trade at 163.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:) added 6.59% or 1.50 points to end at 24.26 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:) was up 5.79% or 1.80 points to 32.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sadr Logistics Co (SE:), which fell 9.96% or 10.20 points to trade at 92.20 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:) declined 3.73% or 0.88 points to end at 22.72 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:) was down 3.05% or 3.00 points to 95.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 82 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.73% or 0.88 to 22.72.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.13% or 1.64 to $75.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.10% or 1.67 to hit $77.86 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 16.30 to trade at $1830.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.46% to 4.2695, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7542.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 95.635.
