I recently completed my Master of Accountancy and will be joining EY’s Tax practice in July 2026, with CPA-track coursework completed. My investing approach is grounded in accounting-based valuation, specifically the Penman residual operating income model, which I apply through full financial statement reformulation and ROE disaggregation into RNOA and the leverage-spread component. On the quantitative side, I have built equity risk models using logistic regression on macro-financial signals and a tactical asset allocation framework derived from clinical decision theory. My sector focus runs toward consumer discretionary, technology, and subscription-based business models. I also have experience in private equity analysis through LBO modeling. Beyond individual security analysis, I write on macroeconomics with a focus on the structural and policy-driven forces that have driven wealth concentration since the early 1980s, including the erosion of labor bargaining power, shifts in tax policy, and capital-biased growth, and evaluate concrete policy mechanisms for reversing those trends.
