With electric vehicles becoming prevalent in the world, it stands to reason that most may eventually need maintenance. However, with supply chains still experiencing slowdowns, some Tesla (NASDAQ:) owners are having to wait.

A recent tweet by a Tesla owner to CEO Elon Musk received some attention after the user posted his story where his appointment was delayed due to supply issues. The user points out that whenever a customer needs to change an appointment within 24hrs of the scheduled time, the customer is charged a $100 fee.

Musk, a frequent user of the social media site, responded to the post saying, “You’re right, we should credit Tesla owners $100 if we change appointments with less than 24 hours notice. Should be reciprocal.”

It is unclear whether or not Musk will take the suggestion seriously enough to change the policy any time soon. However, the multi-billionaire did continue further, posting “Note, I am putting a lot of time personally into advancing Tesla service to make it awesome. Hopefully, this is starting to be felt by Tesla owners.”
