Our Investment Strategy
Through Disciplined Growth Investor we help our members become better investors as we share our deep fundamental analysis for dozens of companies that have the potential to generate substantial returns for shareholders. Not only do we spend a significant amount of time studying these companies, their products and services, their business models, listening to earnings calls, speaking with management, formulating our investment thesis, identifying the competitive advantages, etc., we also put a ton of time and effort into our investment models which gives us a rough idea of what these companies might be worth in 3-5 years if they hit our projections.
Our goal is long-term, compounding returns in the most tax efficient manner possible, which means we’re trying to hold stocks for 12+ months, however we will trim positions if they get too large or sell positions if our investment thesis is no longer intact. We love holding stocks for 2-3 years as long as the fundamentals remain strong and the valuation remains reasonable.
