Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 1.30% to hit a new 6-months low.

The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.19% or 90.00 points to trade at 2,910.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) added 2.02% or 310.00 points to end at 15,690.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:) was up 1.55% or 400.00 points to 26,280.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which fell 5.87% or 101.00 points to trade at 1,620.00 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.80% or 40.00 points to end at 1,013.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) was down 3.78% or 179.00 points to 4,551.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 395 to 98 and 30 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.87% or 101.00 to 1,620.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.29% or 0.32 to $110.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.16% or 0.18 to hit $110.87 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.08% or 20.16 to trade at $1,845.24 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.19% to 3.34, while EUR/ILS fell 0.87% to 3.57.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 102.33.
