Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.26%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.26%.

The best performers of the session on the were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which rose 4.34% or 18.50 points to trade at 445.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) added 2.86% or 100.00 points to end at 3,600.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) was up 1.97% or 51.00 points to 2,640.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Newmed Energy LP (TASE:), which fell 4.54% or 34.70 points to trade at 730.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) declined 4.02% or 215.00 points to end at 5,132.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was down 3.90% or 42.00 points to 1,035.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 240 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.17% or 0.85 to $73.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.87% or 0.68 to hit $78.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.12% or 20.90 to trade at $1,838.10 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.69% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.01% to 3.74.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.82% at 104.87.
