Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Harel (TASE:), which rose 5.42% or 156 points to trade at 3036 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) added 4.42% or 178 points to end at 4205 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) was up 3.88% or 298 points to 7987 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:), which fell 1.45% or 26 points to trade at 1771 at the close. Nova (TASE:) declined 0.36% or 100 points to end at 27400 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.25% or 0.8 points to 324.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 283 to 155 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.42% or 178 to 4205.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.66% or 0.99 to $60.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.89% or 1.18 to hit $63.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.40 to trade at $1819.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.2426, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.9341.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 90.328.
