Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.55% or 168.00 points to trade at 3,860.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) added 2.01% or 42.00 points to end at 2,135.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:) was up 1.70% or 510.00 points to 30,510.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.61% or 97.00 points to trade at 3,623.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:) declined 2.34% or 77.00 points to end at 3,211.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.97% or 11.80 points to 588.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 217 and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.65% or 1.28 to $78.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.89% or 1.56 to hit $84.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 20.15 to trade at $1,899.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.49% to 3.42, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 3.70.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.75% at 102.15.
