Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.03%.

The best performers of the session on the were Nova (TASE:), which rose 2.39% or 750.00 points to trade at 32,080.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:) added 1.93% or 22.00 points to end at 1,159.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.69% or 64.00 points to 3,843.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which fell 3.07% or 15.10 points to trade at 477.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:) declined 2.30% or 27.00 points to end at 1,148.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:) was down 1.61% or 146.00 points to 8,898.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 288 to 185 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.27% or 0.22 to $81.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.73% or 0.64 to hit $88.27 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 5.65 to trade at $1,922.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.66% to 3.37, while EUR/ILS fell 0.61% to 3.66.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 101.88.
