Investing.com – Hasbro (NASDAQ:) reported on Tuesday third quarter that missed analysts’ forecasts and revenue that fell short of expectations.
Hasbro announced earnings per share of $1.42 on revenue of $1.68. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $1.56 on revenue of $1.7B.
Hasbro shares are down 33% from the beginning of the year, still down 35.96% from its 52 week high of $105.73 set on January 5.
Hasbro follows other major Consumer Discretionary sector earnings this month
Hasbro’s report follows an earnings beat by Nike on September 29, who reported EPS of $0.93 on revenue of $12.69B, compared to forecasts EPS of $0.922 on revenue of $12.28B.
AutoZone had beat expectations on September 19 with fourth quarter EPS of $40.51 on revenue of $5.35B, compared to forecast for EPS of $38.51 on revenue of $5.16B.
