Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.29%, while the index climbed 0.28%, and the index lost 0.06%.

The best performers of the session on the were Covestro AG (ETR:), which rose 4.54% or 1.59 points to trade at 36.61 at the close. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) added 2.44% or 0.36 points to end at 15.09 and Brenntag AG (ETR:) was up 2.07% or 1.36 points to 66.96 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Zalando SE (ETR:), which fell 2.25% or 0.66 points to trade at 28.66 at the close. Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (ETR:) declined 1.67% or 0.49 points to end at 28.92 and Vonovia SE (ETR:) was down 1.64% or 0.39 points to 23.36.

The top performers on the MDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which rose 8.62% to 12.15, Rheinmetall AG (ETR:) which was up 7.03% to settle at 199.35 and K&S AG (ETR:) which gained 4.02% to close at 20.97.

The worst performers were Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which was down 11.86% to 5.91 in late trade, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 4.33% to settle at 5.17 and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was down 3.46% to 40.79 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which rose 8.62% to 12.15, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was up 4.82% to settle at 58.75 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which gained 4.13% to close at 22.70.

The worst performers were Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 4.88% to 14.71 in late trade, Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.37% to settle at 43.62 and Suse SA (ETR:) which was down 2.62% to 18.99 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 388 to 276 and 93 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.37% or 1.52 to 43.62.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 3.73% to 21.14 a new 6-months low.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.06% or 1.05 to $1,740.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 2.31% or 1.85 to hit $81.89 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 2.12% or 1.85 to trade at $89.30 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.50% to 1.03, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.87.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 107.15.
