Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 2.30%.

The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 1.21% or 10.40 points to trade at 867.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) added 0.77% or 3.80 points to end at 494.50 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) was up 0.13% or 0.80 points to 601.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which fell 6.99% or 12.26 points to trade at 163.20 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:) declined 5.55% or 4.58 points to end at 77.90 and Netcompany Group (CSE:) was down 5.10% or 20.40 points to 379.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 121 to 35 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.55% or 4.58 to 77.90.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.28% or 1.55 to $119.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.20% or 1.46 to hit $120.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.55% or 47.90 to trade at $1,827.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.94% to 7.14, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.88% at 104.93.
