Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.77% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.15% or 7.24 points to trade at 181.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 2.87% or 22.40 points to end at 801.60 and Orsted A/S (CSE:) was up 2.50% or 19.10 points to 782.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.77% or 9.80 points to trade at 545.20 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 1.50% or 320.00 points to end at 21,000.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was down 1.32% or 280.00 points to 20,920.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 63 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.44% or 0.52 to $119.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.49% or 0.59 to hit $120.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 9.90 to trade at $1,853.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.43.
