Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.08%.

The best performers of the session on the were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:), which rose 5.86% or 11.90 points to trade at 214.80 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:) added 3.85% or 5.95 points to end at 160.30 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was up 3.08% or 2.70 points to 90.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:), which fell 0.63% or 3.20 points to trade at 500.80 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) declined 0.19% or 30.00 points to end at 15,620.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 0.16% or 25.00 points to 15,865.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.98% or 0.77 to $78.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.05% or 0.88 to hit $83.11 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 4.25 to trade at $1,820.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 103.73.
