Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the added 0.84% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 2.50% or 21.50 points to trade at 879.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 1.57% or 6.70 points to end at 434.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was up 0.98% or 8.80 points to 903.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:), which fell 3.74% or 7.80 points to trade at 200.60 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:) declined 1.75% or 28.00 points to end at 1,575.00 and Genmab (CSE:) was down 1.64% or 53.00 points to 3,180.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 74 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.50% or 21.50 to 879.90.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.49% or 0.38 to $77.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.33% or 0.28 to hit $84.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 8.80 to trade at $1,749.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 7.19, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.60.
