Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.40% to hit a new 52-week high.

The best performers of the session on the were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.04% or 34.50 points to trade at 1,169.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:) added 2.34% or 19.80 points to end at 865.40 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was up 1.62% or 1.70 points to 106.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:), which fell 4.46% or 22.70 points to trade at 486.00 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:) declined 2.34% or 16.50 points to end at 688.10 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was down 1.54% or 3.30 points to 210.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 73 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.70% or 1.37 to $81.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.37% or 1.18 to hit $87.10 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.35 to trade at $1,910.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 101.90.
