Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.31%.

The best performers of the session on the were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.02% or 9.60 points to trade at 485.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:) added 1.51% or 8.60 points to end at 577.60 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) was up 1.35% or 1.90 points to 142.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 3.57% or 6.55 points to trade at 177.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) declined 2.67% or 5.28 points to end at 192.30 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was down 2.35% or 4.65 points to 192.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 64 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.02% or 0.83 to $80.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.86% or 0.75 to hit $86.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.45 to trade at $1,931.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 101.75.
