Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.22% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.99% or 2.84 points to trade at 97.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 2.68% or 11.60 points to end at 443.70 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 2.65% or 4.88 points to 189.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:), which fell 2.48% or 10.60 points to trade at 417.30 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:) declined 2.37% or 4.90 points to end at 201.50 and Netcompany Group (CSE:) was down 2.19% or 7.60 points to 339.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 75 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.68% or 11.60 to 443.70.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.71% or 0.57 to $79.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.47% or 0.40 to hit $85.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.23% or 22.20 to trade at $1,787.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 7.08, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 105.08.
