HOUSTON (Reuters) – The United Steelworkers union (USW) on Thursday afternoon signed a tentative agreement to end a nine-week-old strike at Chevron Corp (NYSE:)’s Richmond, California, refinery, said sources familiar with the negotiations.

The terms of the tentative agreement were not immediately available. The agreement is subject to ratification by the membership of USW Local 12-5, which represents the 500 workers who walked off their jobs on March 21, the sources said.
