SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazilian state lender Banco do Brasil SA (OTC:) on Wednesday posted a third-quarter profit that surpassed analysts’ forecasts, up 62.7% from a year earlier.
Banco do Brasil’s adjusted net income came in at 8.36 billion reais ($1.61 billion), while analysts polled by Refinitiv had expected it to reach 7.36 billion reais.
