Investing.com – Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:) reported on Monday third quarter that beat analysts’ forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.
Activision Blizzard announced earnings per share of $0.68 on revenue of $1.78B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.51 on revenue of $1.72B.
Activision Blizzard shares are up 6% from the beginning of the year, still down 18.18% from its 52 week high of $86.90 set on January 18.
Activision Blizzard shares gained 0.45% in after-hours trade following the report.
Activision Blizzard follows other major Communication Services sector earnings this month
Activision Blizzard’s report follows an earnings missed by Alphabet C on October 25, who reported EPS of $1.06 on revenue of $69.09B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.28 on revenue of $71.34B.
Meta Platforms had missed expectations on October 26 with third quarter EPS of $1.64 on revenue of $27.71B, compared to forecast for EPS of $1.93 on revenue of $27.57B.
