Forex Auto Ex
API users can receive the GAIN PRO rates which
offer a superior spread (usually 1-3 pips) and is
typically for those clients that trade over 50
million per month. There is a minimum
deposit of $50,000 US to receive the GAIN Pro rates. However,
a minimum funding of $5,000 will give you access to
the AUTO EX API with rates identical to the standard
Forex Trader platform. In all other respects, the platform is identical to the
Forex Trader platform.
Standard Rates vs GAIN PRO RATES
The
standard rates use a fixed spread that is unchanging
through economic events. This does not reflect the
true market as liquidity at those tight spreads can
be difficult at those times. This is fine for a
typical trader that might only execute one or two
trades as these will be handled however, the API
user may be looking to capitalize on predicted
market movements and it would be unfair to offer
unrealistic prices at those times. The Forex Auto EX (GAIN
PRO) spread will widen during economic events to
reflect the true market and the liquidity available.
Forex trades executed at these widened spreads are
far more likely to be successful and, ironically,
market trades may in fact return a better than
expected price.
Traders typically start using the AUTO EX API with
standard rates and as their trade volume increases
they switch over to the GAIN PRO rates.
